HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT

    OUR BEGINNING

    From the very beginning, given the prevailing specialization of competitors, the market lack of a business concept that would unify the production process in terms of processing and joining different types of materials was recognized.

  • IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES

    25 EMPLOYEES

    Following the needs of the market in terms of requirements for visuals and prints on walls, floors, furniture..., print technology was very quickly implemented with prints on various materials of large dimensions (wood, metal, plastic, paper, cardboard, glass, polymer, monomer, self-adhesive films , backlit, window graphics, canvas, tarpaulin, blockout film, paper, foam materials, polypropylene, hips, PET, dibond, MDF...). Current print technology enables printing on roll materials of unlimited length as well as flat materials up to 4 cm thick, 350 cm wide and unlimited length.

    EXPANDING THE RANGE OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

    This was followed by the formation of the Plexiglas department with the appropriate personnel and technological infrastructure, and then the locksmith and carpentry workshops. Over the years, carpentry has become a modern production capable of meeting all the needs of the POS business division for wooden elements, but also independently producing furniture for the market, under the Carpentry Woodworks By Balboa brand.

    With the aim of additional diversification on the market, from the very beginning of the business, special attention was paid to building own resources in the development and design processes. The department deals with the development and design of both products for a well-known customer and products that supplement the product portfolio.

    Today, Balboa is one of the few market participants that is able to satisfy all the needs of its clients, starting from the idea, product design, production and implementation of POS materials without restrictions in terms of the choice of components of the finished product. PRODUCTION PROCESSES

DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN

The development department employs 8 people, from product designers, technologists, graphic designers and engineers. They turn the customer's needs into an idea, do the design, development, 3D visualizations and follow everything to the end of the production process, in order to get the finished product. Each product is designed exactly for the customer's needs and as such does not exist on the market and it is unique.

PRINTING

Our print technology enables the production of products with significantly more added value through the process of material refinement. Namely, in addition to classic posters, foils, alubond, wood, we can print decorations in imitation of wood, metal, concrete not only visually but also tactilely (embossed). On all machines, the paint is dry immediately after the production process, so it is not necessary to split the production process due to the drying period.

CUTTING AND FORMATTING

Cutting and formatting takes place on several CNC and Laser devices, and the result is finished products or a part of the product that is forwarded to further processing or assembly. The technique applied in the production process to the existing 3 CNC and 4 Laser devices depends on the specifications of the end product as well as the material used. CNC machines as well as lasers are equipped with cameras that make it possible to avoid formatting via the insertion angle, optics are used and the device independently recognizes how to turn the G points and make an optimal cut.

PROCESSING OF PVC MATERIALS

Employees of the Plexiglass department perform the final stages of processing Plexiglas and other materials (folding and gluing parts into a finished product). This process is crucial in terms of combining several types of materials into an innovative and unique product, for which Balboa is recognized on the market.

CARPENTRY

Carpentry capacities are used both for the production of POS materials or wooden components of POS materials, as well as for the production of promotional furniture, interior design, salons, shops, hotels, office spaces, hospitals, clinics, and household furniture.

FINISHING

Employees of the Finishing Department are trained to work in all production processes (departments) and quickly adapt to the work requirements of each process (department), and are directly responsible for assembling, finishing and packaging finished products ready for shipment.
